Throughout his extensive tenure at HGI, Chris has honed his focus on various aspects of the company. Initially involved in operations and employee management, he transitioned to managing and developing new business areas, playing a pivotal role in the company’s expansion in the geophysics market. Chris’s calm and focused demeanor under pressure has proven invaluable in managing complex work logistics. His ability to adapt and problem-solve has enabled successful outcomes in many situations.
In 2005, Chris began focusing on liner leak location and advancing leak detection services for HGI. Working with others, Chris developed proprietary techniques and methods that significantly improved the process of liner leak location, leading HGI to work on diverse global projects. His expertise and contributions have considerably enhanced HGI’s share in the liner leak detection market, greatly influencing HGI’s success.
He is an active member of the ASTM Committee for Liner Leak Detection and continues to contribute to industry standards. Outside of work, Chris has an adventurous spirit; he enjoys road trips, Buddhist meditation, real estate investing, and ultimate Frisbee.
Chris has a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor’s in Geophysics from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
