Jonathan Rolling is a geoscientist with hydroGEOPHYSICS, INC., with a background in environmental geoscience.  His primary role is to assist staff geoscientists and engineers with geophysical surveys measuring subsurface geologic properties using various geophysical methods and instruments.  He received his B.S. in Environmental Geoscience from Texas A&M University in College Station (2020).

Before coming to HGI, Jonathan worked for 5 years as a river guide in central Colorado.  Working as a guide, he was responsible for his guests’ and fellow guides’ health and safety in the remote wilderness for extended periods while running dangerous rivers.  This time as an outdoor professional allowed Jonathan to gain experience working safely in remote locations while ensuring that those around him do the same.  The combination of guiding and scientific education led him to find his passion in geophysics.

Jonathan enjoys hiking, exercising, camping, and cooking during his spare time.
